Located on some 40 minuets drive from the capital of Yerevan, Khor Virap monastery is one of the most visited landmarks in Armenia in line with Garni temple, Geghard monastery and religiose sites in Vagharshapat city.

The key features of this tour is that it is a short, half day activity. During this period of time we will drive through the flattest part of Armenia, Ararat valley, to the direction of Ararat mountain. Here we will visit one of the first Armenian monastic complexes built in 4th century of our decade.

From the top of this place opens a terrific view to Mount Ararat. Surrounded by the wine yards, this historic monastery is a beautiful place to take photos and buy souvenirs.
