#104: Yerevan Old district tour
Yerevan with its current layout, wide avenues and modern buildings was built during the 20th of the last century, by the plan of the architecture Alexander Tamanyan.
The goal of this tour is to present to you what the city looked like before the reconstruction. For that, we will visit the old district of Yerevan. Crossing the narrow paths, we will get to the pedestrian tunnel covered with modern graffiti, through which we will come out to Zangu gorge, which crosses through the middle of the city.
In the second half of the tour, we will have a promenade along the embankment Hrazdan river and finish the tour in “Blue mosque”. The last is an Iranian mosque of the 18th century, built for the local Muslim population that was living here at that time.
